Arvind Kejriwal Assam Visit: ‘They have been threatening me since two days…’ Kejriwal said in Assam amid Himanta Biswa Sarma’s warning

Arvind Kejriwal On Assam CM: Aam Aadmi Party convenor and Delhi Chief Minister arrived on a state tour on Sunday (April 02) amid warnings from Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. During this, he attacked Congress, BJP and Assam Gana Parishad and said that whenever the party got a chance, it looted the public.

He said, “All the leaders ruined Assam. Congress was in power for 52 years, Asom Gana Parishad for 10 years and BJP for 7 years. These parties cheated the public. When they got a chance, they looted.” Attacking the Chief Minister of Assam, he said, “Himant Babu’s government was formed in the year 2016, our government was formed in Delhi in the year 2015 but for seven years they did dirty politics and I did development in Delhi.”

Kejriwal on Sarma’s warning

On Himanta Biswa Sarma’s warning, Arvind Kejriwal said, “They have been threatening me for two days that they will send me to jail, arrest me. You became the Chief Minister of Assam but the culture did not come here. You did nothing in 7 years. I will show you the roads of Delhi. We opened mohalla clinics. They have no time to listen to the voices of the unemployed.”

What did Sarma say?

Himanta Biswa Sarma said before Kejriwal’s visit to Assam, “Are there cases registered against me in any part of the country? I want to file a defamation case but Arvind Kejriwal is speaking in the assembly like a coward. So let him come to Assam on April 2 and let him say that cases are registered against Himanta Biswa Sarma. I will file a case against him.”
